The ESG Value Creation Group bases its sales and development strategies on our management strategy.
Our main role is to set medium- to long-term management goals of expanding product sales that contribute
to solving environmental and social issues, and by focusing on development activities, listening to the
needs and issues of customers around the world, and contributing to building a sustainable society by
solving these issues with new technologies and products.
We fully understand our customers' "how to use" and aim to become a solution provider for ESG
contribution
through our products.
With regarding to climate change issues, based on the requests from society under the Kyoto Protocol,
the
Paris Agreement, etc., the role of the Sustainable Consumption and Production Group is to formulate
targets and plans for energy conservation and energy conservation activities including reduction of
greenhouse gases such as CO₂, resource-saving activities such as industrial waste reduction,
and supervising the achievement of targets by the entire company.
We recognize that the manufacturing processes for carbon materials are energy intensive, and we will
actively pursue ways to reduce energy and resource consumption.
The People and Organizational Vitalization Group considers social issues, with the aim of fostering a
